Our Scottish natural
midge repellent is called
Stop Bite,
and is made with Lavandin (a hybrid of lavender), Bog Myrtle, rosemary and common lavender.
We think it smells great, but the midgies don't! It also works with mosquitoes and other insects.
Our other midge spray is Itch Ease for relief of midge bites and other insect bites,
if you forget or are too late putting on your insect repellent!
Our sprays are made with fresh herbs and witch hazel,
sold in 50 ml. (2 oz) pump spray plastic bottles.

The truth is repellents don't always work against thick clouds of hungry midgies,
so we designed "The Stopper", our own
Midge Head Net.
It's made for us in Scotland, and has a breathable showerproof microfibre top,
very fine soft mesh material for excellent visibility and comfort,
shaped loosely at the neck with elastic, with our innovative snug-fit collarette.
It is available in Black, Dark Navy, white, green, blue, stone and pink,
and is safe to use with Stop Bite Midge Repellent.
We also sell plain small, medium or jumbo packs of our black, white and green midge netting,
to cover windows or tent openings.
Our Full Midge Monty bag
has a bottle of Stop Bite repellent,
Itch Ease after bite and
The Stopper midge head net. The midge net, midge hood or midge hat as
it's called, is available in a choice of all the colours as above.
The hessian bags were made for us in India,
and tested by us for resistance to sea and sand.
We find the full midge monty a popular gift for outdoor people,
it saves £2 on buying the three products separately, and there's the free bag!
For sitting around outside on a calm evening when the midgies like to snack,
our citronella, lavender and bog myrtle
Midgie candles
can help to keep away the unwelcome guests.
The 3 inch pillar candles are solid and chunky, they weigh about 330 grams,
and will burn for up to 37 hours.
They are made from high quality oils, wax and wicks, and made exclusively to our specification for us in England.
As well as being very attractive, they smell lovely!
For backpackers, walkers, campers or other outdoor folk, the midge candles
come in a compact size in a tin.
Our lightweight tin is around 65 mm wide by 25 mm thick.
These will burn for up to 12 hours, but have a total weight of only 75 grams.
They also come in citronella, bog myrtle or lavender scents.
